Each SCOLA Insta-Class lesson is a segment from a target language news broadcast reformatted--but not adapted or changed--for language learners. In addition to the original video segment, each lesson contains an MP3 of the audio and a PDF of the segment's text with, often, a translation and a short quiz.

SCOLA Insta-Class lessons are available to members of the University of Richmond community, because Richmond is a SCOLA affiliate. Therefore, you must be using the University's network or be running the University's VPN in order to have access to any of these files. For help, contact the Help Desk.

Lessons are currently available as downloadable .zip packages. The Studio will eventually begin to distribute the current lessons as podcasts.
